Boling ISD

Boling Independent School District (Boling ISD) is a public school district located in Boling, Texas, approximately 60 miles southwest of Houston. Established in 1928, the district encompasses 147 square miles and serves a population of about 3,700 residents. Boling ISD operates three campuses:

Newgulf Elementary School: Serving students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Iago Junior High School: Serving students in 6th through 8th grades.
Boling High School: Serving students in 9th through 12th grades.
The district is committed to providing a comprehensive educational program that prepares students for success in an ever-changing world. Approximately 80% of Boling ISD students continue their education after high school graduation, reflecting the district's dedication to academic excellence. The student body is culturally diverse, with approximately 36% Anglo, 53% Hispanic, and 10% African American students.

Boling High School, originally built in 1929, continues to serve as the main classroom facility. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including athletics and academic competitions, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.
