Lone Oak ISD

Lone Oak Independent School District (LOISD) is a public school district located in Lone Oak, Texas, primarily serving Hunt County, with a portion extending into Rains County. Covering approximately 98 square miles, the district educates around 1,083 students across three campuses:

Lone Oak Elementary School: Grades PK–4
Lone Oak Middle School: Grades 5–8
Lone Oak High School: Grades 9–12
LOISD is dedicated to excellence in education, providing exemplary educational support and numerous extracurricular offerings to prepare students for their future. The district boasts a 100% graduation rate for the Class of 2021 and has implemented a 4-day school week to enhance educational outcomes. Additionally, LOISD is a Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) approved district, recognizing and rewarding teacher excellence.

The district is managed by a seven-member board, with Janeé Carter serving as the Superintendent of Schools.
