Sands Consolidated Independent School District (Sands CISD) is a public school district located in Ackerly, Texas. Serving parts of Dawson, Martin, Borden, and Howard counties, the district operates a single campus that accommodates students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. As of the 2021–2022 academic year, Sands CISD enrolls approximately 246 students. The district is committed to providing opportunities for all students to prepare them to participate as responsible citizens in an ever-changing society.
