Tyler ISD
Tyler Independent School District (Tyler ISD) is a public school district located in Tyler, Texas. It serves the majority of Tyler, as well as the city of Noonday and rural areas in west central Smith County. The district operates numerous campuses, including two high schools:
Tyler Legacy High School: Established in 1958, formerly known as Robert E. Lee High School.
Tyler High School: Established in 1912, formerly known as John Tyler High School.
Tyler ISD is committed to providing a comprehensive education that prepares students for success in an ever-changing world. The district offers a variety of programs to meet the diverse needs of its students, including Advanced Placement courses, career and technology education, and fine arts electives. Additionally, Tyler ISD operates innovation schools such as Caldwell Arts Academy and Birdwell Dual Language Immersion School, catering to specialized educational interests.

Tyler ISD's commitment to excellence is reflected in its accountability ratings; in 2019, the district was rated as a "B" by the Texas Education Agency.
